3/12/2010 Update: We will carpool since we don't have enough people for a bus. It's not too late to join us! The trip will only cost $25/person for gas! This is still much cheaper and more convenient that travelling by yourself.

I'm looking for one more driver for the carpool. Let me know if you can drive and you will receive $25/person.

Here is the trip schedule:
4:30 am - Carpool leaves the Running Zone in Elk Grove
5:00 am - Carpool leaves Safeway, at 424 Howe Ave, Sacramento
5:30 am - Carpool leaves Davis Park n Ride at Hwy 80 and Mace Blvd
6:30-7:00 am - Get on Shuttle Bus in Aquatic Park in S.F. for transport to race start
8:30 am - 1st Wave race start
1:00 pm - leave S.F.
2:00-3:30: arrive back in Davis, Sacramento, and Elk Grove

We will travel together on a bus from Sacramento to San Francisco. This is a very fun race that goes from Sausalito to San Francisco and crosses the Golden Gate Bridge. The bus will drop us off at the start of the race and pick us up at the end. There will be time for lunch or shopping in SF before the bus leaves.

Join us for Irish Coffees at Buena Vista and lunch at a water front restaurant after the race. You can do your own thing too! The bus departs from S.F @ 2:00 pm.

The cost of the bus trip is $35 per person. Please RSVP "yes" if you think you might want to go. You must pay for the trip to guarantee a spot on the bus.
