 scription on the race website: \n\n"Experience all the sights and sounds th
 at Oakland has to offer at the new Oakland Running Festival featuring Oakla
 nd's first marathon in 25 years! Runners will begin on Broadway\, race alon
 g Piedmont and College Avenues\, pass through beautiful Lake Temescal and t
 hen tackle the hills of Montclair. After a breaktaking view of the Cities b
 y the Bay\, runners will journey throught the vibrant neighborhoods of Frui
 tvale\, Chinatown and historic Jack London Square. Then it's a final lap ar
 ound sparkling Lake Merritt and a sprint to the finish at City Hall." \n\nR
 AT PACK RUNNERS HAVE A DISCOUNT CODE!  YOU WILL RECEIVE A DISCOUNT CODE WHE
 N YOU RSVP!\n\nRelay Runners:  Let us know if you want to be assigned to a 
 Relay Team\, and we will form one for you! \n\nWe will charter a bus if we 
 get at least 26 paid participants.  Otherwise\, we will get a 12-15 passeng
 er van or carpool.  Please RSVP now "yes" or "maybe" if you think you might
  want to go.  It helps me to plan the trip.  Only those that have paid $35 
 for the trip will secure their place on the bus.   \n\nYou must register fo
 r the race yourself at the race website:  Oakland Running Festival.  Howeve
 r\, don't sign up until I try to get a group discount.  I will update this 
 page soon with more information on discounts. \n\nArrive at least 10-15 min
