DESCRIPTION:Running Adventures Travel Club  "The RAT Pack"\n\n6/10/2010 Upd
 ate:  I will be renting an apartment in downtown S.F. close to the start of
  the marathon and first half marathon races.  Anyone can join me in the apa
 rtment the night before the race for $50/night for a bed space or bring a m
 attress and sleep on the floor for $40/night!\n\nI will be staying the frid
 ay and saturday nights before the race also.  You can join me on Friday nig
 ht too.  The first people to contact me and pay will be the first to reserv
 e their space.  RSVP "yes" now if you want to be included.\n\nI will also a
 rrange a carpool for those not wanting to stay the night for the 2nd Half M
 arathon. \n\nHere are the race start times:  Marathon and 1st Half:  5:30 a
 m\, 2nd Half:  815am\; 5K/Progressive:  7:45 am.\n\n_______________________

 rts and finishes on the Embarcadero\, traversing San Francisco.  It runs th
 rough Fisherman's Wharf\, the Marina\, across the Golden Gate Bridge (and b
 ack)\, through the Persidio and into Golden Gate Park\, through Height Stre
 et\, Mission\, Potrero and Mission Bay Districts\, and under the Bay Bridge
  to the finish line.\n\n1st Half Marathon:  This race covers the first half
  of the marathon course\, crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and finishes under
  the bridge.\n\n2nd Half Marathon: 2nd Half MarathonFlat and fast\, the 2nd
  Half Marathon gives runners a complete tour of Golden Gate Park\, and many
  of the unique neighborhoods that are famous in San Francisco.\n\nProgressi
 ve Marathon/5K: Progressive Marathon/5KChoose to run the 5K (a USATF certif
 ied course)\, or track your miles while training for the 5K and earn a meda
 l by signing up for the Progressive Marathon. \n\nThe 2nd Half Marathon\, a
 nd the 5K Progressive Marathon starts near 8:00am\, and we will at about 4:
 30 am. \n\nThe Progressive Marathon is a very cool concept used at this mar
 athon.  The Progressive Marathon allows you to log your running miles prior
  to the event.  You then run the 5K at the event and get a Progressive Mara
 thon Metal...how cool is that!!\n\nYou must register for the race yourself.
   We will have a a team discount set up for this race\, so don't register f
