I loved this run and the all the booths after were great too. I didn't see fellow Rat Packers, but I didn't know who I would be looking for since this was my first event.

Beautiful setting. Pea gravel was a workout in itself, I would have preferred dirt. The smaller number of people made it more personal.

The trip was great! Nancy thank you so much! I look forward to participating in many more road trips, the company was great and the ride was comfortable, it doesn't get better than that!

I had a blast! It was a great time and VERY intertaining! My friends that went with me are already talking about next year. Everyone on the bus was great! Nancy does a wonderful job. I wanted to rate the trip GREAT, but there was one person who was late getting back to the bus by 30 minutes and I did not think that was fair. I know things happen and maybe I don't know the whole story, but one person made 2 bus full of people wait. It wasn't like we didn't all know the buses were to leave at 1 pm sharp. I thought it was very inconsiderate. Other than that the trip was a ball and THANK YOU AGAIN NANCY FOR PLANNING THE TRIPS. I'm sure it is a lot of work.

This was my second Bay to Breakers, but my first Bus Trip with Rat Packers. I had the most amazing fun time ever! The bus was on time, easy to find at the end of the race and the envy of my friends that drove to SF. You will be seeing more of me in the near future. Nance Lancaster was organized, consciencious and was very responsive to email questions and concerns. She had the trip under control without overly controlling it. This is the way to do out-of-town runs!

Didn't like having to wait over 30 minutes for someone who couldn't find the bus, especially since we had been at the bus for over an hour already. Definitely liked the bus trip and not having to drive and park in the city. Nice having a bathroom on the bus also. Also liked how close the bus was to the race. It seemed on the map that it was a lot farther.

Many thanks to Nancy for organizing this. If I hadn't found this bus trip, I probably would not have gone to Bay to Breakers because transportation from Sacramento seemed challenging without really knowing SF very well. Bus was clean and timely. Trip organizers were always available to reach for questions, and provided maps and safety pins for bibs. Bay to breakers was an interesting event (to put it mildly) that everybody should do at least once!

This was my very first experience with the Rat Pack as well as the Bay to Breakers. All I can say is that I thought that, with one exception being the poor participant who missed the street to get to the bus in S.F., it was just plain fantastic. The timing to leave the Park N Ride at Power Inn & Folsom went without a hitch, and we arrived in the City in ample time. The buses were ready and waiting for us when we got back to the pick up point in S.F. Kudos to Nancy L. -- you did a magnificient job ..... And I'd definitely like to participate in this particular adventure next year!

I did this race years ago, when it was Houlihan's. I remember driving from Stockton alone, because I was not able to find anyone else who wanted to go. This year was my third meet-up. Nancy did an excellent job organizing the trip and Frank got us there in one piece. The other people on the trip were so cool and friendly. I was a perfect day for a run across the Golden Gate bridge. The mile markers were easy to spot and the volunteers were friendly and offered lots of support.

The teams were great... all the people were great. The only thing I did not like was getting to our meeting area (4th Leg) and having to wait 2 1/2 hours in the cold.

This was a very fun evening with several members of the RAT Pack Relay teams. Everyone had a good time, and we are now full of carbohydrates for this Sunday's CIM Relay!

The trip was SUPER FUN. We got to know each other a bit on the ride to the race. Arrived at the event site in plenty of time to relax before the race. After the run, we met back at the bus and exchanged our experiences about the race.

We had a great ride down. We parked real close to the starting line. The weather was a little chilly but after you started it warmed up nicely.

Nice trip. Vanpool meant not having to worry about driving the streets of San Francisco. The 5K course was enjoyable, especially crossing home plant at ATT park. The baseball game itself was exciting. It was my first visit to the Giants' home park. Good weather, good friends, good ballpark experience, plus it was Randy Johnson bobblehead day to boot! A fine time!!

The race was so much FUN. We got to the race early and got a great parking space. Getting our race goodie bag and visiting the vendors pre-race was easy. Got to run with the ocean and Bay Bridge as views. Then we ran onto the playing field at AT&T Park and touched home plate. Another visit with the vendors and then watched an exciting game from great seats. The weather was as prefect as the company. Doesn't get much better than that.

It was a fun, fun day! We had a fast, carefree ride to and from the race and parked right near the event. These trips are fun for walkers, runners and just spectators. I would recommend it to anyone. Next year we need to have enough to tailgate in the parking lot.

This was a very run race, and the Giants baseball game was unbelieveably fun! The van was parked only a few yards away from the race start and finish. This is definetely the best way to travel to an out-of-town race.

What a fun trip! We couldn't have asked for a better parking place! The run was so much fun and the Giants game a blast. Next year we must tail-gate!!!

The event was well-organized, with plenty of aid stations. And the course was flat and soft through the vineyard. A great tune-up race heading into the fall training season! Kudos to the organizers of this event. My only regret was having to leave for my sons baseball game before they poured the wine. Next year!
