Join us in the second annual Rock n Roll Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon! We will be leaving from Sacramento on Thursday, June 24, 2010 around 10:00 am will be returning from Seattle on Sunday, June 27, 2010 around 7pm. The races will be on Saturday, June 26, 2010.

"A Running Nirvana…Featuring ideal running temperatures in the mid-60’s and beautiful scenery, the Pacific Northwest is a perfect destination for an early summer vacation. Both courses start in Tukwila and wind along Lake Washington, finishing outside of Qwest Field in downtown Seattle.Combine your running/walking experience with a weekend getaway in Washington’s outdoor haven."

Last year we rented three apartments with kitchens, one mile from the bus pick up location for the races. We didn't need rental cars because we were at such a great location. Here is a link to my Examiner.com Seattle Race Review and a link to all our photos from the trip.

The expected cost of the accomodations is expected to be between $50-70/night/person. Last year the Southwest airlines tickets sold at $99 each way when you purchased the tickes six months in advance.

RSVP "yes" or "maybe" now, and payment for housing will be due 2-3 months in advance. You are responsible for making your own airline reservations and race registration.

We will also be getting a group disount code for this race. Don't register for the race before we get the race discount code.
