California State Capital (map)
Update 11/1/2010: The CIM Relay registration is now closed. Add your name to the Waiting List if you would like to be sustituted for a Relay Leg in case someone can't make it. Last year several people got ill, and we had 4-5 people of the waiting list take their places.

Here is a great way to participate in all the fun without the 20 mile trainning run! The RAT Pack will be forming several relay teams for the California International Marathon (CIM).
Sign up individually and we'll put you on a team or enter your four member team here! You can walk or run this relay. RSVP "yes" and answer the automated questions so that we can place you on teams best suited for you.
The four-person relay will begin at 7 a.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2010, near the Folsom Dam in Folsom. The scenic 26-mile, 385-yard course runs from Folsom Dam to the State Capitol in Sacramento.
Each relay team consists of four runners. The approximate distance of each leg is as follows: #1 - 5.9 miles; #2 - 7.6 miles; #3 - 7.0 miles, #4 - 5.7 miles. The relay is held at the same time and on the same course as the individuals' marathon.
Here is a link to the CIM Relay site: CIM Relay WebpageWe will register the teams on the website after RAT Pack Members have paid.
There is a limited number of Relay Teams allowed in this race. It is expected that the Relay Team entries will fill long before the November 1, 2010 deadline.
How do we connect with our team before the race? And also do we pick up our own tee shirts at the expo?
I'm on team 2, leg #4. My friend Carol is leg #1. I'd like to find out who is leg 2 and 3. Thanks, Julie
Same questions here. Don't know what team I'm on or what leg I'm running. Also wondering about packet pickup.
Refunds offered if:
Additional notes: Refunds will be made if we miss the deadline for registration only. Once the team is registered there will be no refunds.
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
Yay! My first ratpack experience. Can't wait!
