ONLINE RANDOM DRAWING REGISTRATION
Opens: Monday, April 11th, 9:00am PST
Closes: Friday, April 22nd, 11:59pm PST
OBTAIN YOUR GROUP ID BEFORE REGISTRATION
Group registration continues to be one of the most popular features of the Nike Women's Marathon. This year, if you are interested in registering as a group, you should obtain a Group ID prior to registering in the random drawing by following these four easy steps:
STEP 1. Designate ONE person in your group to be the group leader.
STEP 2. Beginning Monday, March 28th, group leaders must obtain a Group ID by completing the Group IDApplication form.
STEP 3. Once the Group ID has been obtained, the group leader MUST copy, paste and send the Group ID to everyone in the group. All group members need to copy and paste the Group ID to reduce the chances of typos.
STEP 4. Starting April 11th, every member of the group needs to input the Group ID in the appropriate box on their own random drawing application. Your Group ID must me entered correctly to be considered. If your group is selected but you mistyped your Group ID during registration, you will not be included in that group.
(Please note: email addresses will no longer be accepted as a Group ID.)
Runners have the opportunity to enter as either an individual or as part of a group using a Group ID, but cannot enter as both. Duplicate entries are void and will be grounds for complete removal from the random drawing.
REGISTRATION STATUS
This year, you will be able to track your random drawing application throughout the registration process! Once you have completed your application, use our searchable database to make sure you entered the correct Group ID, be the first to see the results of the random drawing, and more!
PLEASE NOTE: NEW RANDOM DRAWING APPLICATIONS WILL BE UPLOADED AT THE END OF EACH BUSINESS DAY. YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR APPLICATION IN THE SEARCHABLE DATABASE UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER YOU COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION. IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR APPLICATION AFTER 24 HOURS, PLEASE CONTACT SIGNMEUP.COM AT [masked].
IMPORTANT TO NOTE
I have NEVER tried to do this lottery thing before.. so I register for the lottery for free? and if I get in via lottery then I pay??
Erica, when you register for the lottery, you'll give them a credit card number. If our group is selected (and Nancy has good karma), your credit card will be charged, and you're in. Keep your fingers crossed, and do plenty of hill work :) .
John is corrected! Thank you John for replying to Erica's question.
the group ID number is not being accepted for me. I'm just putting in: SDWL54 and it's giving me an error msg.
Any suggestions?
Rachael I just registered and it worked....copy and paste (that's what I did).
I had problems too, but it was because when I pasted it, I did not get it all the way to the left inside the box. I had to move it over for it to work. Make sure it's all the way over w/ no space.
Nancy,
Thank you! I have my fingers crossed!
