June, 2009 Update: Several of us will be carpooling to this event. Angel Island is on the hit list for closure by the Governor office, so don't miss this last chance to run the island! You can still register for this race.

You won't want to miss this very fun trail run on Angel Island in S.F. Bay! The views are spectacular! There are several distances that you can run: 8km (4.9 mi), 16km(9.94 mi), 25km(15.53 mi). They have a 50km(31 mi), but there wont be enough time to finish this distance.

There is a post race soup and chili picnic included with race registration. You are encouraged to bring your own picnic food too! You can also take the ferry to Tiburon after the race for lunch at an oceanside restaurant and shopping.

Family and friends can come too! They can purchase a RAT Pack bus ride and also purchase a separate ferry ride to Angel Island. Meet up with your family and friends after the run for a picnic on Angel Island! We will have family rates for the bus trip.

We will travel in a luxury motor coach bus with a bathroom! We will leave Sacramento at 4:30am (you can sleep on the bus!), and leave Tiburon for Sacramento at 3:15pm. Be sure you can make it back to the bus by 3:15pm if you are running one of the longer race options. The cost of the bus trip is $35 per person.
